Here’s How to Obtain a Coin Bag in Pokémon GO

You’ll also need to progress through the game until you manage to make it to the first Pokémon Center, which takes an hour of gameplay. Once you’ve done that, follow these steps to link your Pokémon GO account with the Nintendo Switch –

• Press X in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet ot open up the Poke Portal.
• Select Mystery Gift and then click on Pair with a Pokémon GO Account.
• Open Pokémon GO on your phone with Bluetooth enabled.
• Head to Settings and then open Connected Devices and Services.
• Connect your Pokémon GO account to Nintendo Switch

Once you’ve managed to connect both of your devices, here’s what you need to do in order to obtain a Coin Bag in Pokémon GO –

• Open the Poke Portal in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet by pressing X.
• Choose Mystery Gift and connect to Pokémon GO

1. Golden Lure Modules

Golden Lure Modules can be placed on a PokeStop for 30 minutes. In addition to attracting the regular Pokémon, they also have a boosted chance of spawning Gimmighoul. Although obtaining a Golden Lure Module requires a Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, they’re often used by other trainers during large community events. Keep an eye out for the Golden Lure Module during the upcoming Pokémon GO Fest 2026, and be prepared with Ultra Balls and Golden Razz Berries, as it’s a hard catch.

2. Special Events
