Outfits in Pragmata are all cosmetics and don’t affect the gameplay mechanics at all. However, that doesn’t mean it is available from the start. To unlock outfits in Pragmata, you have to make progress in the narrative and also earn/collect a few of them.
If you do not have any pre-order or deluxe edition bonuses, you will have to earn your first outfit through gameplay. Until then, it may seem like the option to change outfits is missing entirely from the game.

If you have the outfits and want to know where to go to change your outfit, you have come to the right place. All you have to do is follow these steps: simply progress far enough (in the main storyline) to be able to unlock your Shelter in the prologue.
Once you have done that, you will unlock the cabin and unlock the stamp board system. This is the system where you will earn your outfits (through gameplay) or allow you to change outfits (if you have the pre-order or deluxe edition ones). Once you unlock the outfits, go to the Shelter’s outfit storage area to switch to them.
To unlock the slots on the Stamp Board, you will be required to earn cabin coins (which are earned through exploration). And from these slots, you will receive various rewards, some of them being outfits for Hugh and Diana.
NOTE: If you have the pre-order or deluxe edition outfits, you don’t need to earn coins; go straight to the Outfit storage area to customize.
From there, simply interact with the outfit storage terminal to browse and equip any outfits you have unlocked. You can switch between outfits freely at any time while in the Shelter. There is no cost, cooldown, or restriction once the system is unlocked.
Helpful Tips for Outfit Customization
The Shelter is your hub for all outfit changes. | Credit: CapcomIf you want to access outfit customization faster in Pragmata, focus on progressing through the Shelter upgrades as early as possible. No sightseeing or taking on a side quest.
At first, you may have access to Stamp Boards but still not see any outfit options. That is because the system only becomes active after you unlock your first outfit. Once you do, the outfit storage feature appears in the Shelter.
Additionally, make sure to collect and spend Cabin Coins efficiently, as they are required to unlock board rewards, including outfits. One thing to remember after unlocking the board: Don’t be discouraged if the outfit option does not appear immediately. There is often a short delay before you earn your first outfit reward. Keep progressing through the boards, and the feature will unlock naturally.
Since the outfits are purely cosmetic, feel free to experiment and switch styles whenever you like without worrying about any disadvantages.
