An insider told Radar Online how Costner had been taking this situation very badly and that he had high hopes of settling down with Jewel, but nothing he does seems to go the way he wanted. Now, the actor is reportedly drunk-calling the singer.

His friends think it’s pathetic, but after he has a drink or two, he seems to think anything is possible. It doesn’t happen every night, but often enough to be a bother. He’s not used to being rejected, and Jewel jilting him after his wife dumped him for his friend did a number on his ego.

It’s understandable that Costner might be at his lowest after he was dumped by his wife in 2023 after 18 years of marriage, in addition to his passion project bombing at the box office. Fans would remember him previously taking pride in his self-financed film franchise Horizon: An American Saga, which did not perform well critically and commercially.

It’s hard to think that Costner used to walk into a room and all women would swoon over him. He’s charming, and all, but he still cannot get the girl of his dreams despite his accomplishments, which is truly frustrating.

The tipster also remarked that fans could not blame Costner for wanting to call Jewel late at night, but this move is definitely not helping him or doing him any favor. The famed veteran star is yet to comment on this rumor.
