Rockstar Games’ and Sony’s collaboration doesn’t end with an exclusivity deal. The two companies have now teamed up for two limited-edition GTA 6 DualSense controllers, giving PS5 owners a choice between Black and White designs inspired by none other than The City of Vice.

Both controllers are set to launch on November 19, 2026, alongside the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI, with pre-orders opening September 10. Here’s everything you need to know about their prices, designs, release date, and where you can pre-order them.

GTA 6 DualSense Controllers: Designs and Price

Sony has announced two GTA 6 DualSense controllers: a White Limited Edition that is said to be inspired by Vice City’s daytime beaches and pastel skies, and a Black Limited Edition based on the city’s neon-lit nightlife.

According to the latest PlayStation.Blog announcement, both controllers use a shimmering, color-shifting finish that is meant to evoke a Vice City sunset and its neon lights. They also include molded palm tree details and GTA 6 branding.

The controllers will cost $84.99 in the US, £74.99 in the UK, €84.99 in Europe, and ¥12,480 in Japan, including tax. That is the same price as several other limited-edition DualSense models (like the Marvel’s Wolverine-themed ones), with no additional premium for the game branding.

Sony has also confirmed the following recommended retail prices for several Southeast Asian markets:

Both the Black and White Limited Edition controllers will be available in limited quantities through participating retailers in the region.

GTA 6 DualSense Controllers: Pre-Order Details

Pre-orders for both GTA 6 PS5 controllers will open on September 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time in supported regions. In the US, they’ll go live at 7:00 a.m. PT and 10:00 a.m. ET through PlayStation Direct.

The White Limited Edition will be available through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers worldwide. The Black Limited Edition has more restricted availability, with PlayStation Direct carrying it in supported markets and select retailers offering it elsewhere.

PlayStation Direct (direct.playstation.com) is available in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, and Austria. In Portugal, both controllers will instead be available through PlayStation’s hardware store (playstation.com/store/hardware). Sony has also noted that availability can vary by country or region.

Yes, and Sony has indeed used the phrase “limited quantities” at least three times in its official blog. Considering these are also some of the sleekest and most unique limited edition DualSense designs we’ve seen recently, anyone set on a particular version should definitely get their pre-order in as early as possible.
