Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 spoilers

The conclusion of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen is just around the corner as Yuji and the gang finally manage to take down Sukuna. However, it was not an easy task as they lost many prominent characters along the way. The one major character that many believed would also lose his life in the process was Yuta Okkotsu, as he did something that was next to impossible.

The special-grade sorcerer first challenged Sukuna on his own and almost won, but when Sukuna overpowered him, Yuta swapped bodies and made a grand return as Gojo Satoru. He somehow copied the brain transplanting technique of Kenjaku and used it to take over Gojo’s body, helping their battle against Sukuna in a major way.

But the main point of concern for Jujutsu Kaisen fans was Yuta’s return to his own body. As portrayed in the last chapter, it was supposed to be a big revelation as to how he managed to pull it off, but the spoilers of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 revealed that Akutami might have forgotten about it.

Yuta Okkotsu Was Supposed To Be The Center of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 269

Jujutsu Kaisen is now only three chapters away from its end. With Sukuna out of the picture, the narrative of the series was supposed to focus on the other aspects of the series, like how the world was going to recover from Kenjaku’s shrewd plan and how the Shinjuku Showdown affected the Jujutsu world.

One of the major aspects to focus on was Yuta’s Okkotsu’s return to his original body after using Gojo Satoru to defeat Sukuna. The plot point of Yuta entering Gojo’s body and using it was hyped by the fact that after this, he might die while returning back to his body. Fans were intrigued to find out how Yuta would escape death and return to his own body.

Even the last chapter, 268 specifically focused the final panels on other characters talking about Yuta’s return to his own body. While some were excited, others were angry because of the stress the special-grade sorcerer gave them early on. Thus, it was predicted that the upcoming chapter would solely focus on Yuta and his return to his original self.

How Did Yuta Return To His Body?

Chapter 269 of the Jujutsu Kaisen spoilers claims that Gege Akutami did explain how Yuta transformed back into his previous shape, but the mangaka gave it very little weight. Instead, the chapter basically focused on criticizing their methods while fighting Sukuna and how things could have been changed for the better.

The chapter only revealed that while Yuta was in Gojo’s body, Rika (the cursed spirit that remains with Yuta) was continuously using the Reverse Curse Technique to maintain his old body.

So basically this chapter was everyone reflecting on how the fight could have gone and New Shadow Style lore. Where the hell did saving Yuta go

Thus, when Kenjaku’s technique ended, Rika’s connection brought him back to his old self. This development was quite underwhelming for Jujutsu Kaisen fans, as they expected a little more thrill in Yuta’s return to his old self.

On top of that, Yuta’s return to his own body was supposed to be the grand conclusion that Jujutsu Kaisen fans were waiting for. Instead, Akutami decided to ignore it and move forward with another plot involving Tengen and the different clans in Jujutsu Kaisen.
