The battle between the Ice King and Foundation is officially coming to a close with the conclusion of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 and the beginning of Chapter 7 Season 3, thanks to the end-of-season Fortnite live event, dubbed Shattered. The event is confirmed for tomorrow, June 5, and all players will receive exclusive rewards, but you need to participate to acquire them all.

The Fortnite Shattered live event will go live tomorrow, June 5, at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT / 11 PM UTC. It’s worth noting that the doors for entering will open 40 minutes before it begins. What to Expect From the Fortnite Shattered Live Event?

The Fortnite Shattered live event will conclude the ongoing storyline revolving around the battle between the Ice King and Foundation, and begin Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, officially titled Runners. The team that you’ve supported throughout Chapter 7 Season 2 will affect your experience during the Fortnite live event tomorrow, as confirmed by the teasers shared on social media by Epic Games. Expect a cinematic battle between the two teams and leaders.

As for the rewards, players who log in and attend the Fortnite live event will receive the Chaos Cutlasses Pickaxe, and those who attend the live event with one or more friends will receive the Bark Voyager Sidekick. Once you’ve obtained the rewards, they’ll appear in your Locker after the new season is live. The gameplay trailer for the upcoming season, Runners, will be revealed during Summer Game Fest by Ben Starr before the end-of-season Fortnite live event.

Chapter 7 Season 3 is confirmed to arrive on June 6, 2026, and is focused on Sprites. Dr. Slone will be featured in the upcoming season’s storyline and will be included in the Battle Pass as a skin, along with the Pen & Ink variant of John Wick and more. After the Fortnite live event concludes, the servers will go offline for maintenance before the new season graces the Island.
