Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Editions: Prices & Pre-Order Bonuses Explained

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is finally set to launch on April 8, 2027, and Square Enix has opened pre-orders for all the editions. Before we get into it, the gist of it is that there are several editions, from the $69.99 standard physical edition to the $349.99 Collector’s Edition. If you’re trying to decide how much you want to spend on the final game of the trilogy, there are many options.

As a first in the trilogy, FF7 Revelation will release simultaneously on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Digital pre-orders are currently available on PS5, Xbox, and PC, while Switch 2 digital pre-orders will open later. Physical versions are also planned for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch 2.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Editions and Prices

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation comes in three physical editions, plus two premium digital versions and a digital trilogy bundle.

The Day One Edition costs $69.99 and is basically the standard physical edition. It includes the base game and a Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Final Showdown promo card. This $69.99 price will apply to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 versions.

The Deluxe Edition costs $99.99 and adds several physical collectibles. Alongside the game and promo card, buyers receive a SteelBook case, a mini soundtrack CD, and a 120-page hardcover artbook featuring artwork from the game.

The most expensive option is the Collector’s Edition at $349.99, which is exclusive to the Square Enix Store and available in limited quantities. It contains everything from the Deluxe Edition, alongside a Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth statue. The three-character display piece can also be separated into individual figures.

For digital buyers, the Premium Edition costs $99.99. It includes the game, 24-hour early access, the Story Expansion Pass, the Reclaimant Choker, and a Survival Set. The Expansion Pass includes two post-launch story episodes: one centered on Sephiroth and another featuring Vincent and the Turks.

The Premium Plus Edition costs $109.99 and includes everything in Premium, plus a digital artbook, digital mini soundtrack, Polydroid Alexander Summon Materia, Nymphwing Bracelet armor, and Risk Taker’s Choker.

Finally, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Series Trilogy Edition costs $84.99 during its pre-order period. It includes Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Final Fantasy VII Revelation. The price is scheduled to increase after Revelation launches on April 8.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Pre-Order Bonuses Explained

The pre-order bonus depends on where and how you purchase Revelation.

All digital editions include the Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle Summon Materia when pre-ordered by April 8, 2027, at 13:59 UTC. This applies to the standard digital release as well as the Premium and Premium Plus editions.

Physical pre-orders through the Square Enix Store come with an additional Sylph Summon Materia. The listed deadline for this bonus is April 7, 2027, at 23:59, although Square Enix notes that bonus content could potentially be sold separately in the future.

Physical Day One copies also include the Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Final Showdown promo card, while Square Enix Store physical pre-orders receive the Sylph bonus.

Players who own save data from Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth can also unlock additional rewards in Revelation, including Chocobo & Moogle and Phoenix Summon Materia, plus weapon skin sets tied to the previous games.

Essentially, the $69.99 Day One Edition is the easiest choice, and if you’re a collector, the Deluxe Edition is also a good option. If you’re buying digitally, you can consider the Premium versions for the additional DLCs. Finally, the $350 Collector’s Edition is aimed squarely at the most dedicated FF7 fans.
