HBO Max April 2026 Highlighted Shows

Hacks Season 5: April 9

The Emmy-winning comedy Hacks will return for its fifth and final season. The season will wrap up the story of Las Vegas legend Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and her fiery writing partner Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder).

Season 5 will pick up after the shocking cliffhanger from season 4, specifically dealing with a death hoax that jeopardizes Deborah’s career. It sends the duo back to Vegas to defend Deborah’s comedic legacy. Christopher Briney from The Summer I Turned Pretty has joined the season 5 cast (via Variety). The 10-episode season has a special two-episode drop scheduled for April 30 and May 7. It will end with the finale on May 28.

Euphoria Season 3: April 12

After a long hiatus, Euphoria will return with a major five-year time jump. Rue (Zendaya) is struggling with sobriety and debt in Mexico. According to the clips in the season 3 trailer, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) are likely engaged, living in the suburbs; however, they might face a strained relationship. Hunter Schafer’s Jules is somehow now wealthy beyond imagination. Maddy (Alexa Demie) is working at a talent agency in Hollywood and pursuing her own side ventures.

The familiar chaos of the original series has evolved into a darker and more dangerous adult world. The whole lot of stars will be joining this season, including Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Sharon Stone, Trisha Paytas, Danielle Deadwyler, Natasha Lyonne, and more.

Half Man: April 23

Richard Gadd is following up his 2024 breakout hit Baby Reindeer with Half Man. The series stars Gadd and Jamie Bell as two men bound together like brothers, whose reunion at a wedding decades later sparks a violent incident. The story spans 30 years, exploring their fractured relationship and complex history. Created and written by Gadd, it is produced by Mam Tor Productions for the BBC and HBO. (via Warner Bros.
