Sure, One Piece has some crazy power-ups, thanks to the abilities that Devil Fruits grant. However, the jutsu techniques in Naruto are technically trickier to deal with in comparison. Furthermore, we are talking about one of the strongest characters in the entire Naruto verse, Madara Uchiha, here.
Therefore, even the Yonko (Emperors) in One Piece (some of the strongest individuals in the storyline) would have a hard time holding their ground. But how exactly would they fare against this Uchiha leader? Here we’ve ranked all 7 of them based on how well they’d perform in a fictional clash against Madara.
7 Buggy Wouldn’t Stand a Chance Against Madara

Therefore, a hypothetical face-off between him and Madara Uchiha from Naruto would be extremely one-sided. Buggy wouldn’t even stand a chance, let alone defeat him.
Even if he somehow survives some of Madara’s initial attacks, Madara has way too many tricks up his sleeve, like Fire Jutsu, Genjutsu, Susanoo, and a whole lot more. But here’s the consolation: the most Buggy outcome would be Madara winning the fight while everyone somehow thinks Buggy won!
6 Madara Might Find a Way to Put Down Big Mom

She also possesses some seriously powerful abilities, along with monstrous strength and ridiculous durability. Additionally, her elemental homies would surely assist her in this grand-scale hypothetical fight.
That said, Madara still has little to fear. Since Madara is not only strong but also uses his brain to its fullest potential, Big Mom might not be able to keep up. Also, the fact that Madara is quick to adapt in combat would likely give him an easy opportunity to pin down Big Mom first.
5 Blackbeard Is Strong, But a Bad Match for Madara

However, he is simply a bad matchup for Madara. After all, a big portion of Blackbeard’s strength comes from his ability to nullify any Devil Fruit-generated attack.
But Madara? He never relies on Devil Fruit powers anyway, so that ability would be useless against him. That said, the reason why he is placed 5th on the list is that Blackbeard’s Yami Yami no Mi can still be a challenge for Madara to adapt to. It could possibly pull him in like a black hole.
4 Luffy’s Gear 5 Will Be Unpredictable for Madara

However, as suggested by the canon feats in Naruto, Madara’s brain operates on a completely different level than Luffy’s. Sure, Gear 5 Luffy’s unpredictability can be quite troublesome for Madara to deal with, but he could arguably find a way around it soon.
There might come a point where Gear 5’s unpredictability becomes predictable for this insane Uchiha strategist. certainly a possibility. If only Luffy weren’t so careless during fights, then this could’ve been one of Madara’s toughest matchups against any One Piece character.
3 Madara May Struggle Against Kaido’s Durability

Also, similar to Madara, Kaido has quite a few tricks up his sleeve. He can fly, unleash heavy elemental attacks, and generate massive AoE pressure. Even a single Thunder Bagua could seal the deal.
Thus, we can conclude that Madara wouldn’t have an easy time against Kaido. Even the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan could only take him so far. However, Madara would still likely win if the fight drags on for long (as typical Shonen fights often do). His Six Paths/Ten-Tails form would eventually overpower Kaido.
2 Shanks’ Wildcard Presence Can Be Madara’s Nightmare

Both Shanks and Madara are insanely strong in their respective universes, and they both use their brain and brawn to the fullest. Therefore, the moment Madara underestimates Shanks, it could be game over for him.
Shanks’ Conqueror’s Haki is arguably the biggest threat here. Also, imagine if Shanks tactically manages to land a Divine Departure-level hit on Madara, it could very well be the end of the fight. Thus, Shanks easily secures the 2nd spot on the list. That said, Madara’s Six Paths form is still something to look out for, and would most likely be the reason Madara wins this fight.
1 Prime Whitebeard Will Give Madara the Toughest Fight
Finally, Madara’s toughest matchup would likely be against Edward Newgate. Here, we’re using his real name instead of Whitebeard to emphasize that only Prime Whitebeard has the highest chance of actually bringing Madara to his knees. On top of the strengths that the other Yonko possess, Prime Whitebeard is also a veteran of large-scale fights, mainly because of his experience.
As shown in One Piece, Prime Whitebeard’s quake ability can be so overwhelmingly powerful that it could even crack through defenses like Susanoo. Also, top-tier Armament Haki and Conqueror’s Coating would allow Newgate to perform in a manner that Madara might struggle to adapt to. Even Six Paths/Ten-Tails Madara would likely be pushed to his limits going up against Prime Whitebeard.
