Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has already seen immense success as an anime and live-action, and now it’s high time that its arcs receive the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle treatment. The franchise does have its own set of movies, but it still deserves the treatment received by the Demon Slayer franchise.
So here is a list of a few One Piece arcs that definitely deserve Infinity Castle or Mugen Train-style films, which would bring out the grandeur of the storylines. The arcs have been ranked from least to most suitable for an Infinity Castle-like movie adaptation.
6 Thriller Bark Arc

The Thriller Bark arc is perfect for a spooky Halloween movie release. In this arc, the Straw Hats face off against the eerie powers of Gecko Moria on an island where everything looks like nightmares brought to life. The humor is on point in this arc, and the themes of camaraderie run deep.
Since it is a comparatively short arc with a self-contained story, it would make for a perfect movie.
5 Skypiea Arc
The Skypiea arc is less action and more story-based, but that does not make it any less exciting. This arc explores themes of religion, colonization, and abuse of power, as well as cultural erasure. It also has one of the best settings and worldbuilding, with a dreamlike setting. Of course, Luffy’s battle with Enel is awesome and invigorating.

The cloudy landscape, coupled with the golden city of Shandora and Enel’s powers, would create a truly beautiful movie.
4 Alabasta Arc
Alabasta is an extremely political arc in One Piece. It features a battle against Crocodile, a true perpetrator of war and unrest in Alabasta. Luffy needs to defeat Crocodile before a massive war can break out in the already ravaged country.
Time is ticking, and the arc is filled with intense action. Luffy’s struggle against taking down a mammoth villain like Crocodile can make for an extremely emotional movie.
3 Wano Country Arc
Wano was one of the biggest One Piece arcs, which means in order to capture its full spectacle, it would need to be divided into 2-3 movies, just like Infinity Castle. Luffy gets caught up in the political dealings of Wano, which is suffering under the tyranny of Kaido.
With this arc debuting Luffy’s Gear 5 and the legendary battle with Kaido, it is one of the fan favorites for a movie.
2 Enies Lobby Arc
The Enies Lobby is an absolute fan-favorite. It is an arc with some of the darkest backstories. Not only did Luffy have to solve inner conflicts within the Straw Hat pirates, but he also had to save his latest crewmate, all the while fighting some of the most powerful World Government agents.
This arc debuted Luffy’s Gear 2 and was the first time that the crew declared open war on the WG. Naturally, it would translate to a visual spectacle if it receives a movie adaptation.
1 Marineford Arc
The Marineford Arc is one of the most adrenaline-pumping arcs of One Piece. It has the highest stakes with a Mugen Train-like ending, which can make every fan leave the theater with tear-soaked napkins at hand. The massive clash between the World Government and pirates, along with Whitebeard and Luffy, is a battle of the century.
The epic scale of the battle, with Whitebeard’s earth-shaking powers, Luffy’s desperation to save his brother, and the full prowess of the Marines, is a spectacle that deserves the Infinity Castle treatment.
Here is a table with the episode and chapter numbers of the arcs:
One Piece Arc | Chapter Numbers | Episode Numbers |
Marineford Arc | 550-580 | 457-489 |
Enies Lobby Arc | 375-430 | 264-290, 293-302 and 304-31 |
