What to Expect From Eren the Southpaw Episode 3?
Koichi from Eren the Southpaw Episode 2. [Credit: Production I.G.]Episode 2 served as a brutal reminder of the hierarchy of talent. We watched Koichi and his desire to be “someone.” Meanwhile, Eren is a southpaw genius whose mere existence shakes up Koichi’s artist dreams to its core. She is not only better; she is by far the best in the entire room full of aspiring artists who appeared for the entrance exam for Mushashino Art University (MAU).
But, in the end credits, we get a glimpse of Koichi working for a soul-sucking advertising agency. His youthful pride and ambitions long washed away. In Episode 3, we can expect to see how Koichi ended up doing a 9-to-5 job, and what actually happened after he, Sayuri, and Eren left for college.
The show is clearly doubling down on Koichi and Eren’s high school rivalry, leaving us to obsess over where this collision course leads. Mind you, Eren the Southpaw, isn’t even action-oriented or a thriller, and yet it delivers.
