Toronto Police are searching for an elopee who was found not criminally responsible for mischief.

Police said Ricardo Edmond, 38, was last seen on Saturday at about 2:30 p.m., in the Queen St. W.-Lisgar St. area, near the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

Police said Edmond is currently bound by a Form 49 warrant of committal and was found not criminally responsible for four counts of mischief under $5,000.

He is 5-foot-9 with a slim build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue button-up dress shirt, black T-shirt, black pants and grey and blue running shoes.

Police urged the public not to approach him if he’s found, but to call 911 immediately. Anyone with information can also contact police at 416-808-1400.

Man seriously injured in North York shooting

A man who was shot in North York early Sunday morning was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Toronto Police said officers responded to a shooting call in the Lawrence Ave. E.-Railside Rd. area at about 4:20 a.m. and found the victim with gunshot wounds.

Police said he was taken to a hospital via an emergency run with serious injuries.

Lawrence was closed between Railside and Underhill Dr. for the investigation, police said.

1 arrested, another sought for City of Hamilton break-in: Police

A man who was among two suspects accused of breaking into a City of Hamilton facility and stealing two city-owned vehicles in July was arrested while allegedly attempting to leave the country.

Hamilton Police said that on July 22 at about 12:25 a.m., two suspects entered a city facility in central Hamilton and stole several sets of vehicle keys. The two allegedly left the scene in a stolen city-owned vehicle.

Investigators identified the men and warrants were issued for their arrests.

In a Sunday news release, police said Mark McCombe, 55, was arrested in Toronto while attempting to board a flight leaving the country.

Police said Brandon Poole, 35, remains wanted and is believed to frequent the Hamilton, Niagara and Burlington areas.

Police said the duo face charges of break and enter (commit theft), disguise with intent and theft of a motor vehicle.

Woman charged in Toronto dog attack

A Toronto woman sought in a dog attack investigation in Midtown last week has been arrested Sunday.

Toronto Police said the incident happened on Thursday in an off-leash enclosed area of a park near Avenue Rd. and Roxborough St.

As the victim and the victim’s dog were walking near the enclosure, police said the suspect’s two dogs escaped the enclosure and charged at them.

Police said the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while their dog sustained life-threatening injuries.

Tanychia Black, 40, was charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm, two counts of failing to prevent a dog from biting or attacking, two counts of a dog biting a person or domestic animal and obstructing a peace officer.

She was scheduled to appear in bail court on Sunday afternoon.

Police said they haven’t located the accused’s dogs. Police warned anyone who sees the dogs to use caution and not approach them.
