However, the long-standing Elden Ring legend has now shifted their attention to the upcoming unofficial Bloodborne PC port, as it’s debuting much sooner than anyone could’ve ever predicted!

Elden Ring Legend is Hyped For Bloodborne Port

Thanks to the rapid development of ShadPS4, a brand-new emulator that’s been making waves in the emulation community over the past few months, combined with dedicated modders, the much-anticipated PC port of FromSoftware’s Bloodborne is right around the corner.

User Pirat_Nation, who has delivered tons of information regarding the Soulslike game’s port on PC, took it to X/Twitter and revealed that the game will be playable in less than two weeks. Gamers are aboard the hype train, and even Elden Ring pro, Let Me Solo Her, can’t wait to dig into this port and take on their next challenge!

The entire porting project has been in work for months now as a way to bring the legendary FromSoftware game to PC since Sony is bent upon delivering horrendous hero-shooter games, and not what fans have been demanding for ages.

Development on this port has proven to be quite troublesome as ShadPS4 is quite challenging to get running, which has led to a community of members working together to get the game in a playable state as soon as possible. The aim is to upgrade the visuals and remove any kind of frame limits as well.

Whether or not we’ll ever see an official remake of the game is completely in the hands of Sony. Gamers want it, and at this point, everyone knows about it.

Bloodborne PC is Still Plagued by Issues

While it’s great to see that we finally have a release window for the iconic Souslike title, it’s crucial to keep our expectations in check. As is always the case with fan-made projects, the estimated timeline can always go wrong. Just a few weeks ago, the port wasn’t even working past the loading screen and crashed at various points.

There’s no doubt that ShadPS4 wants to bring a polished experience for everyone. So, there’s a high chance that if such gameplay issues and bugs persist, the developers might delay the release and iron out these issues properly.

Bloodborne fans are hyped up with the increasing capability of the unofficial emulator, but there are still concerns that Sony might just end up shutting down the project. At the end of the day, it’s a third-party program that infringes on its copyrighted IPs.

The legality of such emulators has always been a hot topic. In the past, we’ve seen gaming companies go after fan-made programs, as was the case with Yuzu and Nintendo. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope that this emulator sees the light of the day.
