Bloodborne is regarded as one the peak of the Souslike genre, with many fans believing the RPG equaled or even surpassed all Hidetaka Miyazaki and FromSoftware projects. However, its status as PlayStation exclusive meant it was limited to consoles. Fans have taken it upon themselves and are working hard to release a functional port of the game for PC.

With the enthusiasm of modders, the unofficial Bloodborne PC port is right around the corner. As it’s finally in a stable state, modders have taken things to the next level and replaced Hunter with CJ from GTA: San Andreas!

Modders Bring CJ From GTA: San Andreas to Bloodborne PC Port

One modder on Nexus Mods released a mod for Bloodborne that allowed you to play Hunter as GTA‘s CJ. It’s not the first time we’ve ever seen this, but modders have tried their best to add the GTA San Andreas protagonist to every game under the sun.

Although CJ doesn’t fit in this fantasy setting, if modders decide to add his iconic “Ah sh*t here, here we go again,” the mod can undoubtedly become a hit once the PC version rolls in.

Unfortunately, the CJ mod was removed from Nexus. It’s likely due to some legal concerns. We can’t forget that the emulator business is quite tricky. Even the Bloodborne PC unofficial port is still under scrutiny as it’s not an official version released by Sony, which could lead to its demise even before the launch.

The Bloodborne PC modding scene has definitely hit the ground running, with a range of phenomenal mods that elevate Hidetaka Miyazaki’s favorite game. It remains to be seen what other modders come up with, especially since the game isn’t even out for PCs yet. Still, though, somehow, we have CJ in Bloodborne before GTA 6.

When is Bloodborne PC Port Coming Out?

User Pirat_Nation, who has shared tons of information related to the Souslike game’s port on PC, took it to X/Twitter and revealed that the title would be playable in less than two weeks!

That’s surprising considering the fact that it hasn’t been that long since the development of the port started. It proves that a dedicated community can achieve anything if it really strives to.

The development of the project has been challenging due to the fact that ShadPS4 is still in its early stages. Gamers have joined hands and are working together to get the Souslike in a playable state, with upgraded visuals, and remove any frame limits.

It’s unknown if Sony will ever release an official remake of the game for PC players. It’s been one of the most demanded things for years, but Sony keeps bringing failures like Concord. Let’s hope they’ve learned their lesson and give us an official port soon.
