Hollywood is oftentimes not a fair place for women. From cases of underpaid actresses to crew members getting assaulted by higher-ups, Hollywood has had a lot of controversial moments and during the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni scandal, another actress decided to join in.
Although the story was a bit old, Zombieland star Abigail Breslin decided to join in on the conversation of Justin Baldoni and a recent accusation by Blake Lively for s*xual harassment.
Blake Lively has sued Justin Baldoni for s*xual harassment
Earlier in 2024, Justin Baldoni starred in and released a film titled It Ends with Us. Starring Blake Lively in the lead role and based on Colleen Hoover’s book of the same name, the film was a success but the promotional tours of the film were a disaster.
According to a report by People, Blake Lively has alleged that she was se*ually harassed while working on the sets of It Ends with Us. She further alleged that Baldoni organized a smear campaign against her to damage her reputation.
Behind closed doors she [Lively] has suffered from grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety.
As if this wasn’t bad enough, there was a meeting held to address Baldoni’s alleged behavior and the environment he had created while creating It Ends with Us. Several harrowing points were discussed including but not limited to, Baldoni’s previous po*nography addiction and “no more mention by [Baldoni] of him ‘speaking to’ [Lively’s] dead father.”
The battle has already taken a wild turn since secrets are disclosed and the things that should have been kept safe are getting leaked in the open. During all of this chaos, Zombieland star Abigail Breslin used the momentum to share her experience in Hollywood.
Abigail Breslin used the momentum to talk about her experience
In 2023, Breslin was embroiled in a legal battle with Aaron Eckhart on similar grounds as Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. With the It Ends with Us scandal getting exposed, Breslin couldn’t help but share her opinion on the matter.
Taking to her Instagram, the actress talked about the #MeToo movement and how it wasn’t a once-in-a-while protest that died down with the time. Breslin… had a lot to say about toxic culture in Hollywood.
I remember the shift from ‘Yasss!!! Go women!!!! We are woke af!!!! We got your back!!!!’ To ‘God, didn’t these b**ches have their moment a few years ago? Get over it.’
She further referred to her now-withdrawn complaint against Aaron Eckhart,
[I filed] a confidential complaint against a coworker for unprofessional behavior. I had the silly and naive impression they would believe me. Instead of being believed and protected, a suit was filed against me for having the audacity to speak up.

The allegations by Blake Lively against Justin Baldoni are quite brutal and the consequences would be terrible for the guilty party. The two can be seen together in It Ends with Us which is available to stream on Netflix in the U.S.
