Dexter: New Blood star Johnny Sequoyah’s movie, Primate, has clawed its way to the top of the Paramount+ charts and landed on the #1 spot in the United States as of April 11, 2026 (via FlixPatrol). The horror-thriller is directed by Johannes Roberts and features Johnny Sequoyah, who viewers might recognize from Dexter: New Blood. 

She plays Lucy, a young woman who returns home for a vacation, only for the family’s once-friendly adopted chimpanzee Ben to turn completely feral after contracting rabies during her visit. Essentially, Primate is a creature feature in which a group of people fights for survival inside a single isolated location.
