Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is officially adding another major streaming home. Hulu has confirmed that the first movie in the climactic Infinity Castle trilogy will begin streaming in the United States on September 28, 2026, giving viewers another way to experience the blockbuster after its theatrical run and July arrival on Crunchyroll.

The move is particularly significant because Infinity Castle was built as a theatrical event. Now, more than a year after its Japanese theatrical debut, the film is moving deeper into its home-viewing era without losing its place as one of Demon Slayer‘s biggest cinematic milestones.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Part I Sets Its Hulu Streaming Debut

Hulu has confirmed that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Part I will premiere on September 28, 2026, in the United States. The announcement also confirms availability through Hulu on Disney+ in the U.S.

That date puts Hulu’s release alongside Netflix’s U.S. debut rather than replacing the movie’s existing Crunchyroll home. The official Demon Slayer site previously confirmed that Infinity Castle Part I began streaming on Crunchyroll on July 28, 2026, with Japanese audio, English subtitles, and multiple dubbed-language options. That announcement described Crunchyroll availability as worldwide, excluding Japan and Mainland China.

For Hulu viewers, however, the September 28 Hulu announcement specifically concerns the United States. It should not be treated as confirmation that the movie is coming to Hulu in every country. The timing also gives the film a second life after its enormous theatrical campaign. Infinity Castle opened in Japan on July 18, 2025, and its first four days brought in more than 5.16 million admissions and ¥7.31 billion at the Japanese box office.

Infinity Castle Part I Streaming Details and What Fans Should Know

With Hulu acquiring the rights, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has more streaming options other than Crunchyroll. Notably, Hulu hasn’t exactly revealed the release time. That said, the streamer adds its content usually at 12:00 a.m. PDT/3:00 a.m. EDT, and the same is likely for Infinity Castle Part I.

For viewers outside the U.S., the streaming rollout is a little different. The movie will premiere on Disney+ internationally on September 28, 2026, while viewers in the United States can watch it on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ from the same date. The movie’s Hulu release also comes with both Japanese and English audio, making the new streaming option useful for viewers who want to revisit the film in either language.

Disney’s announcement positions this as the first chapter of the trilogy, so newcomers should ideally complete the anime’s previous arcs before jumping into the Infinity Castle. The story picks up after the Hashira Training Arc, with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Hashira pulled into Muzan Kibutsuji’s fortress for the final confrontation.

And yes, the streaming rollout has its own trailer treatment. Hulu has released an official streaming trailer for Infinity Castle, while the movie’s official website already hosts its theatrical trailer alongside character-focused and battle trailers featuring Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Giyu, Shinobu, Akaza, Doma, and Kaigaku.

The timing is also notable because Infinity Castle was designed as a three-film theatrical trilogy, rather than a conventional anime season. Ufotable’s production announcement confirmed the trilogy format in 2024, making Part I the opening chapter of the franchise’s final cinematic saga.

Plus, Aniplex recorded 3.84 million admissions and ¥5.52 billion during its opening three days in Japan alone. Sony later reported that the film had attracted more than 23.72 million viewers in Japan by September 22, 2025, underscoring the scale of its domestic theatrical run.
