With its second installment, however, things are going downhill. Especially with the series’ drop in quality that had fans calling it a PowerPoint presentation. There is a solid reason for this blunder nonetheless.

The awful animation had several fans expressing their utter disappointment in the franchise. While overpromising and underdelivering isn’t uncommon, 8bit Studio’s failure stands as a testimony to that. However, there’s more to it than meets the eye, especially with the studio’s priorities. While Episode Nagi is deemed for its excellent animation, it doesn’t negate the ever-present criticism. Especially with fans calling the studio’s work a PowerPoint animation, season 2 will be a reminder of its blatant failure.

8bit is plagued with the PowerPoint animation controversy

From Tokyo Ravens to Infinite Stratos, 8Bit has produced some underrated anime. The studio received its breakthrough with the success of Blue Lock’s first season. It is considered the finest anime produced by the studio. The second season, however, disappointed many people. With the horrid animation quality, the studio is plagued with the PowerPoint controversy.
