Bank Street closed to traffic due to fire in small mall

Bank Street was closed early Sunday afternoon between Heron Road and Alta Vista Drive due to a fire on Bank near Ridgemont Avenue.

Photos from the scene indicated the smoky blaze was in a restaurant.

Several OC Transpo routes were altered to avoid the fire scene.

There were no indications of injuries.
