Attack on Titan Fans Need to Watch Blue Lock for the One Character that is Eren and Mikasa’s Happy Ending

Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan has already been one of the biggest anime of the new-gen series that has taken the world by storm. The title has achieved global success, as viewers have acknowledged how the mangaka storyline of the series has taken them on a rollercoaster of emotions.

Naturally, the fans were in shock, as the finale of the series had a heartbreaking conclusion that some fans still can’t get over with. However, some fans say otherwise, as they felt that Isayama-Sensei could have given better closure to his main characters than what he ultimately did.

However, AOT fans rejoice as Blue Lock features a character in season 2 of their show, which gives them a fleeting joy of how Eren and Mikasa could have their happily ever after.

Blue Lock Gave Attack on Titan Fans Some Solace After the Series’ Horrendous Ending

Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan was different from all the new-gen series of its time; where others focused on showcasing long plots, the series took a different route. The Extraordinary features only 94 episodes and 139 chapters in total, but fans must not be mistaken because it is packed with action, betrayal, and melancholy.

The series had kept the fans on their toes as they have been wondering how the mangaka would draw curtains on his magnum opus. Sadly, the wait was not worth it as the ending left a bittersweet feeling in the mouths of the fans. As a result, fans have been asking for an alternative ending, where that would give them some sort of closure.

However, Isayama-Sensei had tried to make Eren look like a good guy, but the idea of dying at the hands of the woman he loved was not something the fans were looking forward to. Nevertheless, Blue Lock has come forward, fulfilling the fans’ dream of showcasing how Eren Jaeger’s and Mikasa Ackerman’s happy ending would have looked like.

Season 2 of the sports anime featured a ton of new faces that got the fans excited, but there was one particular face that got the attention of the fans. Rin Itoshi, who made his debut in the new season, dominated the landscape, as he became the No. 1 striker in the series.

Interestingly, it was not his football skills that got the attention of the fans, rather his facial features looked strikingly similar to Eren and Mikasa’s. A fan page (@rin.itoshi) posted this take on Instagram, where they wrote how the couple’s child would have looked like if they ever had one.

They mentioned that Rin’s character resembled Mikasa Ackerman’s hair, while his green eyes and long eyelashes looked similar to Eren’s green eyes and Titan marks. Though none of the creators have come forward to confirm this intriguing notion it’s good enough to make the day of the Attack on Titan fans.

Attack on Titan Fans Cry Tears of Joy

Watching Rin Itoshi dominate Project Blue Lock was similar to how Eren would dominate the battlefield as the Attack Titan. Consequently, fans got emotional as the series did what Isayama-Sensei and MAPPA have been refusing to do for several years.

As a result, it did not take long for AOT fans to be summoned to the Instagram post and left an overwhelmingly positive reaction to the post. They commented,
