ARC Raiders Patch 1.33.0 Breakdown: New Event, Bug Fixes & More

ARC Raiders’ Update 1.33.0 has arrived, and it has brought a mix of fresh content, community-driven activities, and a lengthy list of quality-of-life improvements. While the development team continues preparing for the massive October update, this patch gives players plenty of reasons to jump back into Topside.

From hunting down valuable relics and contributing to a new community project to major gameplay adjustments and bug fixes, there’s a lot packed into this update. Here’s an easy-to-follow breakdown of everything you need to know about the patch.

Everything New Added in ARC Raiders Update 1.33.0

The biggest highlight of Patch 1.33.0 is the arrival of the new Forgotten Relics Event. During the event, players earn Merits simply by gaining XP in raids, with those Merits automatically converting into progress toward a reward track.

Along the way, Raiders can unlock weapons, gameplay items, Raider Tokens, and the stylish new Saltwalker Outfit, along with its customization options. Players can also speed up their progress by tracking down hidden relics scattered across the game’s maps.

These relics can be found inside containers such as lockers, crates, and drawers. And if you manage to successfully extract them, it will grant bonus Merits, with rarer relics offering greater rewards.

Alongside the event comes the Converging Paths Project, a community-focused objective running from June 16 through July 27. Players will work together to recover relics, gather supplies, and secure safe routes for the Nomadic Envoys traveling through the Rust Belt.

As the community makes progress, a Display Case showcasing recovered relics will gradually fill up. Completing the project will reward the players with the red-and-black variant of the Saltwalker Outfit, a Sextant backpack charm, and additional Raider Tokens.

Patch 1.33.0 also introduces an important gameplay experiment. Free Loadouts have been disabled for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny map conditions. According to the developers, these modes offer stronger loot opportunities and should involve greater risk.

The change is currently being tested for three weeks, with the possibility of expanding to additional map conditions in the future. Finally, players can also check out the newly released Reaver Set Bundle, giving collectors another cosmetic option while exploring Topside.

Beyond the new content, Patch 1.33.0 delivers a substantial number of fixes aimed at improving the overall gameplay experience. Among various known issues, one of the most notable was aiming issues that were negatively affecting weapon accuracy when aiming down sights. The update has been fixed, and combat should now feel more consistent across affected weapons.

Several frustrating map-related bugs have also been fixed, including cases where players could unexpectedly fall through the environment.

ARC enemies received some attention as well. The Rocketeer now correctly drops Launcher Ammo instead of Heavy Ammo, while the Firefly can no longer occasionally drop incendiary grenades without being destroyed. Meanwhile, larger ARC units like the Queen and Matriarch now navigate terrain more reliably.

Audio has also seen major improvements. Extraction announcements now play correctly, Raider Caches are easier to locate thanks to improved sound cues, and movement sounds have been adjusted to provide clearer feedback. Footsteps, sprinting, crouching, and sliding should now be easier to identify.

The update also includes improvements to anti-cheat measures. Denuvo Anti-Cheat continues expanding to more players, while the development team remains focused on combating item duplication exploits. Another notable fix is to the Inventory management and user interface systems.

While several issues remain under investigation, including lower FPS for some PC players, Xbox Series S crashes, Quick Wheel bugs, and various animation problems, the overall update represents a solid step forward for ARC Raiders.
