In a video breakdown of Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman’s interview with Megyn Kelly, conservative political figure Candace Owens has weighed in on each side’s argument and examined several of the points mentioned in the s*xual misconduct complaint filed by Blake Lively.
As the private disagreement gets uglier by the minute, fans find themselves being entertained by the tabloid gossip, the rumor mills constantly churning out theories of their own making, and the risky PR moves that both Lively and Baldoni are using to strike out, hurt the other, thus saving their own reputation in the business.
However, among the dissenters and naysayers, Candace Owens has chosen to stand behind Baldoni, claiming that there is something fishy about Lively’s actions and statements, especially after watching Freedman’s interview with the former Fox News reporter Megyn Kelly.

With clips from the Bryan Freedman-Megyn Kelly interview to support her claims about why she thinks Justin Baldoni would win the ongoing lawsuit against Blake Lively, Candace Owens made some controversial statements about the actress.
In a step-by-step breakdown of the lawsuit, Owens described that Lively never intended to take the matter to court and merely filed the s*xual misconduct complaint in retaliation against the alleged smear campaign that she presumed Baldoni ran against her. But seeing as Baldoni has refused to back down, Lively had to double down as well regarding her s*xual misconduct lawsuit.
Owens believes that Lively’s alleged retaliation against the online smear campaign was a bad call and will backfire on the actress since the trial will expose every detail about her recorded interactions with Baldoni. Owens also pointedly claimed that Lively was being manipulative during those interactions and that The New York Times could be sued for libel for their misrepresentation of the facts in the 21 December 2024 report.
Owens further compared Lively to Amber Heard, claiming that she knew “Amber Heard was not being entirely honest” during the defamation trial of 2022 and that she rightly predicted Johnny Depp would win. Owens feels confident this time around as well about her prediction about Lively losing her case against Justin Baldoni in court.
