All PS Plus Monthly Free Games for September 2026

PlayStation has rolled out its PS Plus Essential lineup for September 2026, and this month’s selection brings variety into the lineup rather than chasing a single blockbuster title. Subscribers on Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers will be able to add four titles to their libraries: the World War II stealth-shooter Sniper Elite: Resistance, the retro-styled fantasy RPG Chained Echoes, the physics-driven sandbox game Wobbly Life, and the baseball sim MLB The Show 26.

Sniper Elite: Resistance is at the center of this latest batch of games being added to the subscription. Set in Nazi-occupied France, it puts players in the boots of an SOE operative working alongside the French Resistance to sabotage a dangerous new weapons program. The game leans on the series’ trademark blend of long-range sniping and stealth mechanics while also giving players freedom to approach objectives however they like.

There’s also MLB The Show 26, which brings the annual baseball sim to the lineup just as the MLB regular season winds down toward the playoffs. The game covers the usual modes, including the career-focused Road to the Show, the card-collecting Diamond Dynasty, and full franchise management, alongside on-field gameplay.

To end it off, there’s Chained Echoes, a 16-bit-inspired JRPG that channels the golden age of turn-based role-playing games in a sprawling fantasy world, and Wobbly Life, which is a lighter, as well as chaotic option. It’s an open-world sandbox built around ragdoll physics, where players scrape together cash through a rotating cast of goofy gigs.

Availability Dates and What’s Leaving PS Plus

All four games mentioned above are scheduled to become available starting September 1, 2026, and subscribers will have until October 6, 2026, to claim them before the window closes. Once claimed, a title remains part of your library for as long as your PS Plus subscription stays active, regardless of tier. This applies across Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers, since the monthly games are bundled into every tier.

As the new lineup arrives, PlayStation is also letting go of August’s selection, meaning subscribers who haven’t already claimed Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Big Walk, or Signalis should do so before September 1, after which those titles will no longer be available to add for free.
