Several characters who appeared in the Culling Game arc already possessed some of the most broken cursed techniques. Even a few OG characters in the series received massive power buffs in the later arcs of the storyline, making it a shame that the series never explicitly classified them as Special Grade sorcerers.

Kinji Hakari’s Domain Expansion, Idle Death Gamble, is one of the most unpredictable domains in the series. Although he simply relies on his luck to hit the jackpot, he can continuously manipulate his winning probability, just like how a wretched gambler would. And so, when he eventually hits the jackpot, Hakari becomes almost impossible to kill. Even his cursed energy stats skyrocket after he hits the jackpot for a while. Therefore, he deserves the Special Grade status and earns the 5th spot on the list.

4 Hiromi Higuruma Mastering His Technique Within 2 Weeks Is Insane

Probably for the first time in Jujutsu Kaisen history, a sorcerer unlocked his cursed technique and almost mastered it within two weeks. His Domain Expansion, Deadly Sentencing, traps opponents in a non-violent courtroom rule-set that is extremely difficult to evade. His experience as a lawyer granted him the power to kill anyone who is found guilty. Even though Higuruma hasn’t achieved the full extent of his technique, it already deserves the 4th spot on the list, even at its current strength.

3 Maki Zenin Becomes Unstoppable After Achieving Full Heavenly Restriction

For the major part of the storyline, Maki Zenin remains one of the most overlooked sorcerers. But after Mai’s death, she unlocked full Heavenly Restriction, which turned her into an equal-strength being to Toji Fushiguro. Although, in a conventional sense, she should not be considered a sorcerer, given that she has no cursed energy, using various cursed tools, she can not only defeat any cursed spirit now but can even overpower some of the series’ strongest characters without breaking a sweat.

2 Megumi Fushiguro Has Everything Needed to Reach Special Grade Status

The internet loves to call him “the potential man,” because there’s no doubt that Megumi Fushiguro can easily become a Special Grade sorcerer. Even with an incomplete barrier, his Chimera Shadow Garden provided immense tactical versatility and multi-shadow cloning. On top of that, he legit has the support of his hereditary Ten Shadows Technique. The theoretical peak of the technique, taming and commanding the Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga, places his ultimate ceiling well into the Special Grade bracket. Thus, he effortlessly secures the 2nd spot on the list.

1 Fumihiko Takaba Potentially Has the Most Broken Technique in JJK

Inarguably the craziest wild-card sorcerer to appear in the Culling Game arc, Takaba shatters all conventional notions of cursed techniques. His newly awakened cursed technique, Comedian, can legit bend reality itself. As a professional comedian himself, all he needs to do is imagine a situation that is funny, and it will become reality. If he thought Sukuna could just drown to death, then it could happen. Therefore, he is potentially the most deserving of the Special Grade status out of all.
