All Key Locations in Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!

Rearranging over 3,000 books seems like a herculean objective in Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!, but the Minor Magic upgrades found from the four locked chests on the second floor of the library will certainly make your duty easier. The only catch is that you’ll need to find four Keys first to unlock these Chests buried within the untidy environment.

1 Crimson Octagon Key – High Jump Permit

The Crimson Octagon Key is undoubtedly the first key you’ll find in Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!, as it’s visible in plain sight immediately after you boot up the game. Head towards the middle platform of the stairs, and you’ll notice a University of Celesthall Crest. You’ll find the Crimson Octagon Key below the Crest itself.

Use it to unlock the matching chest, and you’ll acquire the High Jump Permit, allowing you to jump permanently inside the library. This eliminates the need to use stairs to find the other Keys.

2 Golden Diamond Key – Carry Capacity +3

The Golden Diamond Key is the second key, and you can find it inside one of the two decorative white vases on the stair banisters. If you’re looking at the library from the middle platform on the stairs, then the vase on your left will contain the Key. Alternatively, after you’ve unlocked the first chest with the Crimson Octagon Key, turn around, jump on the stair banister, and acquire the Golden Diamond Key from the vase to your right by looking inside.

Use this Key to unlock the matching Golden Diamond chest, and you’ll receive the Potion that permanently increases your max book carry capacity by +3, allowing you to carry 13 books instead of the usual 10.

3 Azure Star Key – Carry Capacity +2

The Azure Star Key is the third key that you’ll find in Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library!, and you’ll need your high jump ability for this one. To find this Key, you’ll need to jump on top of shelves 2O and 2P, which are located on the second floor of the library, on the far right corner. Head to these Shelves, then jump on top of them to acquire the Azure Star Key.

Use this to unlock the matching chest, and you’ll receive a potion that permanently increases your max book carry capacity by +2. Paired with the previous Minor Magic upgrade, you can now carry a total of 15 books at once.

4 Emerald Club Key – Run Permit

The fourth and final Key is the Emerald Club Key, and to locate this, you’ll need to dig deep. In the middle of the library, you’ll notice a large table buried beneath a massive pile of books, with two globe statues on either side. If you’re facing towards the library from the middle platform of the stairs, head to the right side of the table and toss books aside until the bench is visible.

To be more specific, the bench will be directly in front of shelf 1D, and once you’ve dug deep enough, you’ll find the Emerald Club Key lying on the bench. Use this to unlock the matching locked chest, and you’ll receive the Run Permit, allowing you to run inside the library permanently.
