Adam Zivo: CBC ‘investigation’ misleads public on consumption sites

Zivo suggests that by using cherry-picked figures, omitting opposing research and failing to provide context, “the CBC has repeatedly demonstrated that it cannot be trusted to produce balanced journalism on the national addiction crisis. Its ‘investigative’ work amounts to little more than politicized cheer-leading for radical harm-reduction activists.”

Terry Newman: Integration or Islamicization?

The messages at a recent Islamic convention in Montreal, aimed at youth aged 15 to 30, raise “serious concerns about how some Muslim communities integrate into Canadian society,” Newman writes. Attendees were “advised that western man-made laws are immoral and were encouraged to operate in economic and social spheres that would seem to me to minimize their interactions with the rest of Canadian society.”
