Kevin Hart’s 72 Hours drops a middle-aged advertising executive into a Miami bachelor weekend with four men young enough to treat his bad back as ancient history. Kevin Hart Joins a Bachelor Party as Joe

Kevin Hart plays Joe, a 40-year-old advertising executive whose professional instincts have started to age faster than he wants to admit. His employers doubt that he can sell products to younger consumers, so the mistaken invitation looks like a career-saving opportunity. Joe arrives in Miami hoping to study Gen Z, although his clumsy attempt to blend in creates much of the trouble. 

Hart also produced the movie, extending his partnership with Netflix and his long creative relationship with Story. The younger actors refuse to treat Joe like the smartest person in the room, which gives Hart’s frantic persona a fresh group of people to argue with, disappoint, and occasionally impress.

Hernández joined Saturday Night Live in 2022 and became a breakout performer through characters such as Domingo. His other credits include Happy Gilmore 2 and Dying for Sex, but 72 Hours gives him his first major movie role.

Mason Gooding as Mason

Mason Gooding plays Mason, the groom and most dependable member of the party. He is also Nick’s closest childhood friend, giving the group one person capable of recognizing when their celebration has crossed from embarrassing into dangerous.

Gooding is best known as Chad Meeks-Martin in the recent Scream movies. His résumé also includes Love, Victor, Booksmart, Heart Eyes, and Y2K. His relaxed sincerity helps Mason remain sympathetic while louder personalities fight for attention around him.

Ben Marshall as Hunter

Ben Marshall plays Hunter, the sensitive member of Mason’s group who is recovering from a painful breakup. Every wedding activity reminds him that Mason’s relationship is progressing while his own has ended, making Hunter an unpredictable addition to a weekend already short on sensible judgment.

Marshall became known through Please Don’t Destroy, the comedy trio behind digital sketches for Saturday Night Live. He later became a full-time cast member in 2025. Kam Patterson as Freshman

Teyana Taylor as Jennifer

Teyana Taylor plays Jennifer, Joe’s longtime girlfriend and a surgeon waiting for him to make a serious commitment. His sudden departure for Miami aggravates a relationship already strained by his reluctance to take their future seriously.

Zach Cherry as Barry
