Jujutsu Kaisen has proved itself to be one of the biggest shonen battle anime of this generation. Furthermore, what makes this anime so great is that there are reality-rendering powers in it, and yet, it manages to give us some of the best action-heavy sequences.

Speaking of reality rendering powers tells you just how strong some of the characters in this anime and manga are. Let’s rank the best fifteen of them by comparing them to each other on the basis of their power levels and feats in battle. Let’s dive in.

15 Uraume’s Powers Are Simple Yet Powerful

Uraume is the attendant of Ryomen Sukuna. They were strong enough to be recognized by Sukuna; however, they do not have many feats in the anime other than a few. Uraume was able to instantly freeze multiple characters in the Shibuya Incident. Furthermore, Uraume was able to survive most of the battle against Hakari, who went toe-to-toe with Hajime Kashimo, the strongest sorcerer of his own time.

However, their powers are very simple. They are able to use ice, but we haven’t seen them doing anything more than that. Their ranking is only justified by the fact that they survived Hakari for a long time. However, in a battle of attrition, Hakari still edges them out.

14 Hakari Kinji – The Luckiest Sorcerer

Kinji Hakari is a third-year student in Jujutsu High, though he is suspended. His Cursed Technique allows him to make a place full of pachinko machines. If he hits a jackpot there, he will have infinite Cursed Energy flowing within him. While that doesn’t sound impressive, considering he mostly relies on his fists and kicks, he does practically become immortal for a short time.

His powers seem inconvenienced as they rely a lot on luck. However, what’s special about him is that he is, in fact, extremely lucky. He is someone who was able to hold off Urarume, the right-hand person of Sukuna himself. Furthermore, he was able to fight toe-to-toe with Hajime Kashimo, the strongest person of his own time. Yet, he might not do well against Mahito, or other characters on this list.

13 Mahito Is a Walking Health Hazard for Everyone

As long as something has a soul, Mahito only has to touch it to be able to kill it. This is because his technique allows him to manipulate the souls as he wishes, which in turn affects the body as well. He was able to render Todo useless for a while with a simple touch, and he was also fast enough to dodge Gojo’s attacks during the Shibuya incident.

However, he ranks this low because we’ve seen that against opponents that are truly stronger, he can do nothing. For example, there are some characters in this ranking that can one-shot Mahito before he even touches them, and there are also characters whose souls are too strong for Mahito to even do anything.

12 Toji Fushiguro – The Man Who Almost Had Gojo Satoru

Toji Fushiguro was born with heavenly restriction, which means he didn’t have any powers, but he was insanely physically gifted. He had enough speed that Gojo couldn’t sense him with his six eyes, and he was also cunning enough to outsmart Gojo Satoru and nearly kill him.

He had enough physical strength to dominate a freshborn special grade Cursed Spirit. However, he ranks this low because ultimately, complex and honed Cursed Techniques are stronger than simple strength. That said, with his Heavenly Restriction, and insane fighting prowess, he could defeat Mahito, thus ranking higher than him.

11 Maki Zenin – The Heavenly Restricted Genius

Maki Zenin can be considered the successor of Toji himself. The moment when she finally unlocked her true potential was one of the best awakening moments in the anime. After that, she was able to kill multiple grade one sorcerrors like it was nothing. She also killed another prodigy of the Zenin clan, Naoya, all on her own.

Later in the manga, she was able to dodge the world-cutting slash of Sukuna and was strong enough to make a slightly weakened Sukuna make a run for it. However, she ranks low on this list because, while she awakened to the level of Toji, she is still inexperienced.

10 Yuki Tsukumo – The Woman Who Almost Beat Kenjaku

Now we are finally entering the top ten of this ranking. First, we have Yuki Tsukumo, the special grade who taught Todo from a young age, and had the power to stand against Kenjaku alone. Yuki’s Cursed Technique, Star Rage, allows her to grant virtual mass to herself and her shikigami, Garuda.

She also has the Reverse Cursed Technique in Jujutsu Kaisen, which allows her to heal any wounds. However, the actual reason that she sits in the top ten is that she can open a literal black hole as her final attack. But that is also why she isn’t ranked higher, as that black hole is the final attack that kills her as well.

9 Hajime Kashimo – The Strongest of His Time

Hajime Kashimo was one of the reincarnated sorcerers in the Culling games. In his mind, he was strong enough to challenge Sukuna himself, and that, he really was. In his mythical beast amber form, his entire body turns into energy, which allows him to be faster than a normal sorcerer could ever be.

However, he also ranks low because, just like Yuki, this is the final thing he can ever do. If he were able to achieve that form whenever he wanted, he would be sitting much higher in this ranking.

8 Hiromi Higuruma Is the Genius That Was Not Realized

Hiromi Higuruma is an absolute genius when it comes to Jujutsu. He was a normal person, though he was also a genius academically, who got his Cursed Technique after Kenjaku used Uzumaki to start the Culling Games. Higuruma’s Cursed Technique was simple yet effective, which allowed him to attain 100 points in a short amount of time in culling games.

He was also recognized by Sukuna. In fact, Sukuna felt a bit mad when he defeated Higuruma, thinking how he could’ve been a real competition if he had lived long enough. Furthermore, as someone who had been a sorcerer for a very short time, Higuruma managed to attain a domain, which speaks volumes.

7 Fumihiko Takaba, if He Finds You Losing Funny

Takaba’s Cursed Technique allows him to turn anything he thinks is hilarious into reality. It is just as broken as it sounds, because if he felt like the strongest person ever, being suddenly weak was funny, that would actually happen. However, the only reason this technique is effective is that he doesn’t know about it, and he is only having fun in his head. Otherwise, he would easily be the number one in this ranking as the true reality bender.

6 Kenjaku With His Years of Experience

Kenjaku has lived many lifetimes because of his Cursed Technique that allows him to switch bodies. Furthermore, he is an absolute mastermind who basically schemed everything that happened in the anime. After attaining the body of Geto Suguru, he also had the ability to command curses. Furthermore, we’ve seen him using multiple Cursed Techniques, including blood manipulation.

The only reason he doesn’t rank higher is that, while smart and strong, he was defeated by the character sitting just above him in this ranking – Yuta.

5 Yuta Okkotsu Is a One-Man Army

Yuta Okkotsu became a special grade the very day he joined Jujutsu High in the anime. His own Cursed Technique is a copy, which, as the name suggests, lets him copy the Cursed Technique. However, for that, he requires the assistance of Rika, who is a Shikigami that is attached to his Cursed Technique. However, do not get confused, as initially, Rika was a cursed spirit that was haunting him.

He is also loosely related to Gojo, which explains the innate talent that he has. Because of all those factors, he sits right at the start of the top five of this ranking.

4 Dabura Is the Light Speed Nightmare

Dabura is a new character who was introduced in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. His Cursed Technique is light, which allows him to use light as something tangible. Furthermore, when he unlocked his true potential in a battle against Mahoraga, he also started moving at light speed, becoming the fastest sorcerer in the franchise. Other than that, he is a genius beyond Gojo and Sukuna, as he was able to learn RCT mid-battle by only seeing it once.

The only reason he is not number one in this ranking is that he lacks a complicated, Cursed Technique that would give him versatility. Meaning, while he can one-shot most characters in the franchise, in front of a truly versatile opponent, he will fall short.

3 Gojo Satoru Shook the Balance of the World

Upon Gojo’s birth, the balance of the Jujutsu world itself was shaken, as he was born with the limitless Cursed Technique and the six eyes to complement that technique as well. After learning the reverse Cursed Technique, he was also able to automate the Cursed Technique that practically made him invincible.

However, there are two reasons that he doesn’t rank at the top. Firstly, he lost against Sukuna because of not have as much battle experience as him. Second, just as he intended, Yuji far surpassed him in the future.

2 Ryomen Sukuna With Ten Shadows Technique

Ryomen Sukuna by himself would have been ranked lower than Gojo Satoru. However, using his own powers, he managed to defeat Mahoraga. That by itself didn’t mean anything. However, using his cunning mind, he also took over Megumi’s body and finally gained full control of Mahoraga.

Now, he had his own insanely strong, Cursed Technique, and the ability to adapt to any and every phenomenon, which allowed him to finally defeat Gojo Satoru.

1 Yuji Itadori Post Shinjuku Showdown

Yuji Itadori defeats Sukuna and goes on to live for 60 more years without aging. During that time, he honed the Shrine and Blood Manipulation Cursed Technique. Furthermore, he got the Reverse Cursed Technique as well. He was able to fight better than Sukuna and had more control over the technique as well.

With a single drop of blood, he exploded an entire building. With a single dismantle, whose area of effect was bigger and stronger than Sukuna’s domain, he killed thousands of cursed spirits at once. In the Jujutsu Kaisen world, Yuji Itadori now stands at the pinnacle of sorcery.
