Zenless Zone Zero: Best Velina Team Comps

Velina is a Wind Anomaly Agent in Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) who excels at enabling powerful Attribute Anomaly damage while contributing respectable personal damage and Daze buildup. Her kit revolves around applying Wind Anomaly to trigger Windswept and Vortex effects, increasing the damage potential of her teammates.

To truly unlock her potential, however, Velina needs teammates who can capitalize on her Wind-based buffs and Anomaly interactions. These team compositions will help you get the most out of Velina and showcase her maximum potential.

1 Velina + Promeia + Yuzuha

This is currently Velina’s strongest and most complete team composition. The lineup combines Velina’s Wind Anomaly support, Promeia’s exceptional Anomaly damage output, and Yuzuha’s powerful team-wide buffs to create one of the most effective Anomaly teams in ZZZ.

Velina’s role is to maintain Wind pressure on enemies through her cyclones and Gale Field, reducing Anomaly Buildup Resistance. Promeia takes advantage of these effects by dealing massive Ice Anomaly damage and cashing in on the increased damage windows created by Velina. Meanwhile, Yuzuha provides valuable offensive buffs that significantly increase the entire team’s damage output.

The team’s gameplay revolves around setting up buffs, applying Anomalies, and rotating efficiently between Velina and Promeia to maximize damage.

2 Velina + Jane Doe + Yuzuha

Jane Doe remains one of the strongest partners for Velina thanks to her ability to deal significant damage through her own Attribute Anomaly effects. Since Jane’s kit naturally amplifies the damage of her Anomaly procs, she benefits greatly from the additional damage provided by Velina’s Wind Anomaly mechanics.

Velina enhances Jane’s offensive output by enabling longer and more effective damage windows through Windswept. Yuzuha rounds out the composition by supplying the buffs necessary to maximize both characters’ performance. While this team may not reach the same ceiling as the Promeia variant, it remains one of Velina’s strongest options and performs exceptionally well in a wide range of combat scenarios.

3 Velina + Vivian + Yuzuha

For players who prefer a more flexible and consistent playstyle, this team is an excellent alternative. Vivian brings a reliable off-field Anomaly application and supplemental damage, allowing Velina to focus on maintaining Wind Anomaly effects rather than handling every damage window herself.

The synergy between Velina and Vivian creates constant pressure on enemies, as both characters continuously contribute toward Anomaly buildup and damage. Yuzuha once again serves as the team’s support backbone. Compared to the Promeia team, this composition offers slightly lower peak damage but compensates with smoother rotations and more serious sustained damage.

Alternative Teammates for Velina

As the only Wind Agent currently available in Zenless Zone Zero, Velina occupies a unique niche that few characters can replicate. Her ability to enhance Anomaly damage while contributing meaningful damage of her own makes her a valuable addition to a wide variety of team compositions, especially for players invested in the Anomaly playstyle.
