CBS’s long-running reality show, Survivor, is getting a fun animated adaptation. An animated comedy movie based on the show is currently in the works at Paramount Animation. The announcement came from the host of the reality show, Jeff Probst, who is also serving as an executive producer on this movie. However, the announcement didn’t confirm whether he would voice a character or be the “host” in the animated film. This will likely be revealed later.

Jeff Probst Reveals What the Survivor Adaptation Will Include
In the Instagram video, Jeff Probst was excited to discuss what an animated version of Survivor set in the animal kingdom would look like. He shared that setting it in the world of animals gave the makers “a whole new playground” to play around with the show’s format. He shared:
It’s still everything we love about ‘Survivor’ — big personalities, funny characters, surprising alliances, competition, chaos — and of course a lot of heart — but this time, the players aren’t human.
He further shared his excitement in collaborating with Paramount Animation for the project, writing in the captions, “I’m so excited to be teaming up with Paramount Animation to bring you Survivor like you’ve never seen it before…in the animal kingdom!”
The Emmy-winning host of the show further shared that the movie is an all-out comedy. He shared, “This will be an all-out comedy with animals competing for the chance to be crowned the sole Survivor. Let’s go!!!!” We are already loving this premise for the new movie.
