Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay follows Tom Loftis, played by Matthew Rhys, the mayor of a small New England island who wants to turn his sleepy town into a tourist hotspot. The only problem is that the island is cursed. That strange mix of scares and laughs earned the show 19 Emmy nominations and 14 wins, the most ever for a comedy in a single year.

Hiro Murai brought her story to life by directing half of the first season.
