The Toronto Marlies forwards on Wednesday were named to the 2025 American Hockey League all-star classic in Thousand Palms, Calif., from Feb. 2-3 at Acrisure Arena, the home of the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Steeves was leading the Marlies in scoring with 30 points (a team-high 17 goals and 13 assists) in 23 games before the club played host to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday night.
It’s the second year in a row that the 25-year-old Steeves will take part in the AHL all-star festivities.

Shaw, the Marlies captain, has 17 points (four goals and a team-high 14 assists) in 27 games. This marks the third time he has been selected to the AHL all-star classic.
The Marlies also will be represented by coach John Gruden, who will run the North Division bench.
