CanadaSportsBetting evaluated North American cities, taking into account culture, dining, social engagement, tech, and environmental sustainability.

Toronto came out on top in Canada and was sixth overall in North America, thanks to its score of 40.94 out of 100.

The city scored highest in several metrics: dining and nightlife, lifestyle and recreation, and tech and connectivity.

Vancouver was second in Canada — 13th overall — with 33.25, recognized for its recreation and environmental sustainability.

The No. 3 — and No. 18 overall — cool spot in Canada was Calgary, with 27.71, showing a strong performance in social engagement and dining.

Rounding out the top 10 Canadian cities in descending order were: Montreal (with a score of 25.48),  Edmonton (24.9); Winnipeg (20.79); Ottawa (19.92); Quebec City (15.68); Kitchener (15.61) and Hamilton (14.91).

Meanwhile, the top spot for coolest city in North America went to New York City, unsurprisingly, which boasted a score of 72.68. The Big Apple dominated in all categories, excepts population and sustainability.

Washington, D.C., was a distant second with a score of 48.75, followed by Los Angeles (48.66), San Francisco (44.63) and Portland (42.26).

The data shows Mesa, Ariz., is the least coolest city with a meagre score of 11.41.
