The clip shows The Substance star’s interaction with Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet, who share the screen in Bob Dylan’s biographical musical drama, A Complete Unknown. Kylie Jenner, who accompanied Chalamet as his date, was also present at their table.

The clip shows the actress hugging Fanning and then chatting with Timothée Chalamet, who congratulates her on her remarkable win. However, amid the interaction, she does not visibly acknowledge Jenner, who also appears to be congratulating her.

Moore, however, doesn’t appear to notice the Kylie Cosmetics founder before leaving the table. The brief clip has since gone viral on social media, with many praising the Ghost actress for apparently ignoring Jenner.

Comments such as, “This is how all Kardashians should be treated!” and “Kylie looks so out of place,” flooded social media platforms like X (Twitter).

However, despite the wave of reactions, the narrative of Moore deliberately ignoring Jenner is seemingly far-fetched, as the actress does appear to address her congratulatory wishes in the clip.

And the false narrative set by netizens and social media trolls has also been called out by Moore’s daughter, who clarified that the actress did not intentionally snub Jenner at the ceremony.

Demi Moore’s daughter clarifies the confusion in the viral Golden Globes clip

Amid the wild social media reactions to the viral clip from the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, Moore’s youngest daughter Tallulah Belle Willis addressed the situation to set the record straight. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she wrote:

NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD — we spent new years with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do, this angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishers.

She further emphasized, “There was not snub of any sort,” clarifying that Moore would have fully acknowledged Jenner’s congratulations had she noticed her.

She stated in her Instagram story,

Had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!

Tallulah Belle Willis, whom the actress shares with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, also took the opportunity to congratulate her mother on her remarkable achievement at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards.
