Although it would be a waste to think of The Real Housewives as anything less than the over-the-top legacy built by the Kardashians, its impact is equally as jarring, considering the many controversies and scandalous truths that keep coming out from the show and its colorfully eccentric stars.

As of today, the reality TV series has climbed up many spots on the trending hot list for dropping yet another bombshell claim.

Once upon a time, Los Angeles was a wild country that lived more within a realm of fantasy than under the glaring reality of the world outside. Now, due to Cancel Culture, social media, and the vocally critical crowd of fans and the media, Hollywood has been tamed to a more moderate version of the roaring ’90s.

But celebrities born and bred from that era still remember their colorfully wild and stormy past, as they are haunted by memories of a bygone era. The 1990s were littered with an uncontrollable mania that made celebrities give in to raging drug-addled parties and the frenzy that followed soon after.

Stars like Robert Downey Jr., River Phoenix, Johnny Depp, Kate Moss, and now-disgraced music mogul P Diddy carved an entire legacy out of that decade. The Viper Room became a famous hotspot for its many nightly adventures and misgivings that would be erased by the light of the morning.

Now it seems as though The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Garcelle Beauvais was a part of one of the many forgotten rendezvous involving the ’90s party king, Johnny Depp. On the January 7th episode of the show, Beauvais admitted, “I was in Miami at a club and yeah, made out with Johnny. Isn’t that crazy?” And while the claim may as well be crazy, there is no one to contradict her unless Depp himself steps out of hiding to deny it.

In a politically charged era that seems to be caught in a war of ideologies against President-elect Donald Trump, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills comes to the rescue. The star of the reality show, Garcelle Beauvais – who has also made a name for herself in the film industry – has stood firm and strong against Trump’s wild claims against the Haitian immigrants.

Haitian-born herself, Beauvais has called Trump out in a social media post saying, “This madness has got to stop.” [via The Hollywood Reporter] Responding to Trump’s wild conspiracy theories about Haitian immigrants in Springfield eating their dogs and other pets, Beauvais said:

Staying silent in the face of racism and hate is something that I refuse to do. This past week, the lies that have been spewed about the Haitian community — about my community — have been disgusting, deeply hurtful and dangerous.

Donald Trump was elected as President for the second time after the election held on November 5th, 2024. Ironically, on January 6, 2025, four years to the date after the Capitol Hill tragedy, Congress certified Trump as the winner of the 2024 Presidential elections [via Associated Press].

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Bravo.
