What Is The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for the Throne About?
A still from The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for the Throne | Credits: Maho FilmBased on the Japanese light novel series written by Tanba and illustrated by Yuunagi with the same name, The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for the Throne explores the Ardrasia Empire. After the death of the crown prince in battle, the struggle for the throne among the princes has become heated. The seventh prince of the Ardrasia Empire, Arnold Lakes Adler, was incompetent, and he was mocked by nobles as the “leftover prince” – because his twin brother, the eighth prince Leonard, had stolen all of his good qualities.
However, Arnold is actually the strongest prince, and his secret identity is “Silver”, a skilled SS-rank adventurer who hides his face behind a mask and completes difficult requests using powerful magic. With no intention of becoming emperor, Arnold secretly works behind the scenes to support his younger brother Leo, whom he believes is more worthy of the throne.
What to Expect from The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for the Throne Episode 1?
Leo from The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for the Throne anime | Credits: Maho FilmSimilar to almost every other anime series out there, we can expect a lot of character introductions and a lot of world-building from the opening episode of the fantasy anime title. Speaking about the fantasy genre, we will likely see a massive display of political structure and magical prowess in the first episode – the political part mainly because of how the narrative progresses.
Nevertheless, the main focus of Episode 1 will likely be on Arnold and Leo, while there is a chance that other cast members may show up.
