The Cycle: All We Know About ‘God of War’ Star Deborah Ann Woll’s Upcoming Horror Movie

Fresh off her return as Karen Page in Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again, and known to gamers as Faye in God of War Ragnarök, Deborah Ann Woll is set to headline a new horror thriller titled The Cycle. The film comes from writer-director Jordan Downey, the filmmaker best known for ThanksKilling and The Head Hunter.

Horror fans are already very excited to hear about this upcoming movie, thanks to its intriguing mystery premise, an experienced genre filmmaker behind the camera, and a distribution deal with horror-focused streamer Shudder. Here’s everything we know so far about The Cycle.

When Is The Cycle Releasing?

Deborah Ann Woll stars as the daughter at the center of the story. The Cycle is set to offer elements of suspense and psychological horror with undertones of crime and family drama. Jump scares would be minimal as the story seems to be the foundation of the horror.

The screenplay was co-written by Jordan Downey and Kevin Stewart, who previously collaborated on the fantasy-horror film The Head Hunter. Downey is also directing the project. 

Who Is Starring In The Cycle?

The film is led by Deborah Ann Woll, best known for playing Karen Page in Marvel’s Daredevil and The Punisher, Jessica Hamby in HBO’s True Blood, and Faye in God of War Ragnarök.

The Cycle Streaming Details

A theatrical release for The Cycle remains unlikely since Shudder, AMC Networks’ dedicated horror streaming platform, has the distribution rights for the flick.
