Rebel Wolves has now confirmed the worldwide release schedule, and there is a surprisingly large gap between some of the regional launch times.

PC gets a single global unlock, while the console rollout follows a different regional schedule. That means two people waiting for the same game can technically have very different launch nights, even if neither of them has any kind of early access.

On PC (via Steam and GOG), The Blood of Dawnwalker unlocks worldwide at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT on September 2, which is midnight CEST in Warsaw. Consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) will follow a regional rollout, with most regions unlocking at midnight local time on September 3, while the Americas use a synchronized midnight ET launch.

The Blood of Dawnwalker Preload Time, Reviews, and the Road to Launch

If you have pre-ordered The Blood of Dawnwalker, you will not need to spend launch night staring at a download bar. Rebel Wolves has confirmed that preloading begins 48 hours before the game’s release in your region on PC and consoles (via X), giving you plenty of time to get the installation out of the way.

The reviews are also in, and the reception has been strong overall. At the time of writing, the game sits at an 83 Metascore from 58 critic reviews, with 91% positive and 9% mixed. Critics have repeatedly praised its writing, characters, choices, atmosphere, and 30-day time system, while combat repetition, technical issues, and some uneven activities have drawn criticism.

That makes for a pretty encouraging debut for Rebel Wolves, particularly given the expectations attached to its former CD Projekt Red developers. And this is only the start of a ridiculously packed stretch of releases, with studios seemingly eager to get their games out before GTA 6 arrives on November 19 and claims the rest of the year for itself.
