Manganiello is the perfect actor to play the role of the arrogant and brutal Crocodile, who holds a lot of importance in the overall narrative of One Piece. Crocodile has gained a lot of recognition, and he is one of the fan-favorite characters who have been relevant in the story for a long time. Hopefully, Manganiello will be able to pull off this role perfectly.

While fans are excited to see the One Piece villain finally making an appearance in the live-action series, they have already moved on to fancasting another villain, who won’t make an appearance for quite a long time. This villain is none other than Donquixote Doflamingo, and according to the fans, the best actor to play the psychotic role is none other than Antony Starr, who is known for bringing Homelander from The Boys to life.

Joe Manganiello as Crocodile is Perfect

The second season of One Piece live-action is going to follow the Alabasta Saga, and ever since it was announced, fans of the franchise have been dying to find out which new actors will join the cast. The casting of this season holds a lot of importance as Alabasta introduces some major characters who are going to be influential in the later part of the story.

Thus, when fans found out that Joe Manganiello was going to play the role of the main antagonist of the entire season, they couldn’t hold their excitement.

He was even confirmed for the role of Slade Wilson, the iconic villain Deathstroke from the DC Universe, but there has been no news about it since then. Nevertheless, he is now going to be a part of the One Piece universe as one of the most enticing villains in the story.

One Piece Fans Have Now Moved On To Another Villain

Ever since the streak of casting announcements for the second season of One Piece live-action has been going on, fans of the series are glued to social media platforms to find out the actors who would play the roles of their favorite characters. Not only that, One Piece fans are even trying to guess the actors and the roles that would fit perfectly for them.

In doing so, One Piece fans have now reached into the future of the story and are fancasting actors for other villains of the series. One such fancasting that has made the most sense is The Boys’ actor Antony Starr as the most influential underworld broker of the One Piece world, Donquixote Doflamingo.

Starr nailed the role of Homelander, who is a ruthless psychotic leader posing as a superhero. He perfectly fits the profile of Doflamingo, who had a similar personality to Homelander.

However, Doflamingo’s introduction in One Piece live-action is way down the line, and fans will have to wait till then whether Starr joins the cast or not.
