Lyna Du, 32, also from Ottawa, was charged with accessory after the fact to murder, the Ontario Provincial Police announced on June 10.

Du remained in custody and was scheduled to appear in court in Perth on Friday, June 12, an OPP news release stated.

In May, 46-year-old Michael Lewis of Perth was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The arrest of Du followed what the OPP said was a search of a rural property near Terrace, B.C., assisted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Two firearms were seized.

Two other individuals remain wanted on charges of second-degree murder, the release added. Arrest warrants have been issued for Joseph Madore, 34, and Brayton Kennedy, 28, both of Ottawa.

The OPP said investigators believed that Madore may be camping in rural British Columbia, but Kennedy’s whereabouts were unknown. Anyone with information about their whereabouts was asked to contact police immediately.

On April 12, at approximately 3:15 p.m., officers from the OPP’s Lanark County detachment found 34-year-old Christo Allison Richards of Ottawa with life-threatening injuries at Last Duel Park in Perth. Richards was transported to a regional trauma centre, but was later pronounced dead.
