FC Augsburg have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig youngster Faik Sakar on a summer transfer, according to Sky Germany.

Sakar will make the switch to the WWK-Arena as a free agent, having signed a contract until 2030, the report claims.

The 18-year-old winger is set to be part of Augsburg’s first-team squad next season.

He made his senior debut for Leipzig in 2024, playing one minute against Holstein Kiel, but hasn't featured for the first team since.

Sakar has made a total of 58 appearances across Leipzig’s youth sides, scoring nine goals and providing five assists. He has also earned seven caps for Germany at youth international level.
