According to a source, royal courtiers are attempting to broker a truce between the estranged brothers ahead of the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death next year. The hope is reportedly that they could put their differences aside long enough to discuss a joint tribute honoring their mother.

A royal insider told Star Magazine that Harry is willing to participate in discussions about a tribute to their mother, but William has rejected the effort.

“Harry is all for it, but William’s refused,” the source shared, highlighting the Prince of Wales’ widely reported staunch decision to keep his younger brother at arm’s length.

William and Harry’s relationship has deteriorated significantly since Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.
