The first half of the latest Petals of Reincarnation episode primarily focused on the fight between Albert and the other Great-Class Returners who were trying to save Einstein. Even as an experimental being, Albert believes he is the real Einstein and demonstrates his power by wreaking havoc on everyone present on the battlefield. One after another, Great-Class Returners like Möbius, Norton, and several others are killed. Newton also seemed beyond saving at that point, as he was under Nightingale’s hypnosis.

However, things take a turn for the better when Kitazuka arrives. Though his initial plan was to negotiate a ceasefire, in the heat of the moment, even he ends up fighting Albert and Newton. Somehow, his strategy involving smoke bombs, along with his other two henchmen wearing experimental Petal-powered suits, allows them to engage Albert in battle. Amidst all of this, Newton does show signs of recovering from Nightingale’s curse. If he comes back to his senses, this fight will become much easier to win.

On the other side, Touya’s training with Yagyu wraps up, and he asks only for the power of her eyes. He believes it is necessary to face the uncontrollable Haito she has now become. The soul of Musashi has completely consumed her, and she is no longer the Haito we were initially introduced to in the anime. Therefore, the only way to bring her back to normal is to defeat the pride of Musashi’s soul. A clear victory may not even be necessary, but Touya’s planned provocations and survival might do the trick.

What to Expect in Petals of Reincarnation Episode 13?

Honestly, there’s so much to look forward to in the final episode of Petals of Reincarnation Season 1. If the anime wants to wrap up a certain portion of the storyline, then we might see the final grand fight against Nightingale in Episode 13. However, much source material has to be adapted to reach that conclusion. Therefore, there’s also a chance that further seasons of the anime will be announced. In that case, Episode 13 may even end on a cliffhanger. But two major things will certainly be addressed.

One is the conclusion of the fight against the imposter Einstein, and the other is the fight between Touya and a rogue Haito.
