One Piece chapter 1127 spoilers

Luffy and other Straw Hat Pirates’ journey on Elbaf has finally started, as revealed in the latest spoilers of the One Piece manga. While this is an enticing beginning, the crew might not be entirely together, as only the first five have reached Elbaf and don’t even know where they are.

However, it is just like every other arc that Eiichiro Oda has drawn. He is right now setting the background and laying the land on which the crew is soon going to do something amazing. And just like every other arc, he has given new outfits to the crew, which mix well with the setting of their surroundings.

As Elbaf is inspired by the Scandinavian culture, especially their seafaring warriors, Vikings, the crew blended in with some Viking outfits and accessories that have never been seen before. But what One Piece fans don’t know is that Oda had already hinted at Luffy’s Viking outfit, and sadly, it does not include his iconic Straw Hat.

Luffy Might Have To Put Down His Straw Hat After All

As One Piece already knows, Luffy’s straw hat holds a lot of importance for him and for the story. It is a literal representation of the adventures of all the greatest pirates of their era. Joy Boy, Gol D. Roger, Shanks, and Luffy—all of them have taken great care of this Straw Hat and use it as an important symbol in their lives.

Right now, the responsibility for the Straw Hat lies on Luffy, who takes great care of it and always keeps it close to himself. Even the new outfits that he chooses for different storylines have a place for the iconic hat. However, this might have to change in the Elbaf arc as Luffy’s outfit for Elbaf was already decided by Eiichiro Oda in the second volume of One Piece.

Along with a description, Oda included an image of Luffy in a Viking outfit without his Straw Hat. If this happens, it will be the first time that Luffy has chosen an outfit without his iconic Straw Hat.

Luffy’s Viking Outfit Revealed in One Piece Chapter 1127 Spoilers

The spoilers of One Piece chapter 1127 were recently released, and they gave a detailed description of the outfits of the Straw Hat Pirates who have landed on Elbaf. All of them are wearing Viking warrior outfits with axes and Viking swords. However, Zoro is also wearing a goggle, Usopp is wearing a fake beard, and Luffy is wearing a helmet with thorns.

While there is no image available with the spoilers, Luffy’s outfit draws a lot of parallels with the one that Oda drew in Volume 2. Thus, there is a great chance that he might not be wearing his Straw Hat after all. And this time he can’t even hang it on the back as he is carrying an axe on his back.

If Oda has decided to remove the Straw Hat from Luffy’s outfit, he surely has some kind of big plans for the iconic relic from the old era. It can also help in revealing a big mystery, as Elbaf is probably going to make big revelations about the hidden truths of the One Piece world.

One Piece is available to read on Viz Media.
