In the Naruto universe, the Otsutsuki are practically alien beings that are fundamentally superior to humans. In the story, they are revered as equivalent to gods, emphasizing the strength they possess. On the other hand, Imu is the secret ruler of the world in the One Piece universe. He controls the world military and possesses the strength to do so.

While the characters in One Piece are fundamentally stronger than Naruto characters, what if we get to the specifics? Let’s rank all of the Otsutsuki clan members according to how difficult it would be for Imu to defeat them in a battle. Let’s dive in.

13 Kanna Otsutsuki Is the Easiest for Imu to Defeat

Kanna has no combat skills, no attack powers, and she cannot even properly defend herself. From the perspective of both universes, she is basically just a normal human. Imu wouldn’t even need a second to kill her. He can kill her using a punch, normal weapons, or by simply telling a weak guard to do it.

In this particular fight, Imu wouldn’t even have to come up with a strategy. It’s a classic example of a coughing baby versus a hydrogen bomb.

12 The Otsutsuki Clan Patriarch Barely Slows Imu Down

The Otsutsuki Clan Patriarch from the moon branch is an extremely old leader seen only in the anime. He is blind after losing his Byakugan eyes and he doesn’t have anything to show for himself. His old age and complete lack of data regarding whether he even won a good fight make it an easy win for Imu.

Just like with Kanna, Imu simply needs to punch him to end his life. Imu’s personal fighting skills are too high compared to both of them. Imu wouldn’t even need to take his weapon out.

11 Asura Otsutsuki Relies on Healing, Not Firepower

This is where characters actually start putting up a fight. Asusa, who later gets reincarnated as Naruto himself, has huge energy reserves and Six Paths power, but he doesn’t have the combat skills required to fight Imu without taking help from someone else.

Which means, in an isolated fight, which we are assuming for every single character in this ranking, Imu would win. Even then, because of the Six Paths, Imu would have to hit Asura really hard to end his life.

10 Kinshiki Otsutsuki Can’t Out-Tank Imu

Kinshiki is a giant Otsutsuki capable of cutting a god tree with a single strike, making a close fight deadly for Imu. However, Kinshiki relies on raw force and lacks the intelligence required in battle against Imu. For Imu, he is a large, easy target. For Imu to win, Imu must avoid physical contact completely.

The only working strategy relies on big area destruction. Imu must trick Kinshiki into standing in a specific spot and drop an island-destroying weapon right on his head, which would end up killing Kinshiki.

9 Urashiki Otsutsuki’s Rinnegan is no match for Imu

Urashiki has the Rinnegan and teleportation abilities, which should make him really hard to even hit. However, once hit, he is incredibly weak and cannot take damage well. Furthermore, his arrogance is his biggest weakness. He gets distracted easily and loses to a literal child. Imu can defeat him by taking advantage of these huge flaws, since, unlike Urashiki, Imu is smart.

8 Indra Otsutsuki will get one shot by Imu

Indra controls the Perfect Susanoo and has genius-level combat intelligence. Imu’s win relies purely on targeting Indra’s mortal human body before Indra turns on the Susanoo armor. Imu needs to launch a huge, instant attack that wipes out the whole area before Indra can see the threat or react with his Sharingan eyes. This is something that is totally possible, but it does require Imu to act quickly.

7 Momoshiki Otsutsuki Still Falls Short

Momoshiki is a massive threat in the Naruto universe. If Imu shoots a laser beam, Momoshiki may just eat it and shoot it back. To beat him, Imu must use pure physical destruction or extreme map hazards (which he is capable of). One thing to consider is that Momoshiki’s base form is physically weak.

If Imu drops a whole island on Momoshiki, which he should be capable of, as this is something we’ve seen Kaido do in an anime, who is in no way stronger than the world’s strongest, Momoshiki would eventually lose. This will be a tough fight, but Imu will win.

6 Toneri Otsutsuki’s Tenseigan Isn’t Enough

Toneri’s Tenseigan allowed him to cut the moon in half. From a factual view, his damage output is way higher than anything Imu has done. For Imu to win, the fight must happen before Toneri fully wakes up his eyes, or Imu must exploit the fact that Toneri can eventually lose Tenseigan.

In that case, Imu has to drag the fight out using other people that he controls until Toneri’s energy runs out or his eyes fail. Once Toneri’s chakra reserves run out, he can be defeated, just as it happened in the movie as well.

5 Hamura Otsutsuki Pushes Imu Further Than Most

Hamura uses the Six Paths power. Beating him in a fair fight is going to be really hard for Imu. To be honest, from here on in this ranking, Imu is also going to rely on luck. However, Hamura’s edge is longevity – his soul persists and acts long after physical death. Imu must avoid a real fight against Hamura. And if there is going to be a fight, Imu must outlast Hamura in the war of attrition.

4 Hagoromo Otsutsuki Is a Genuine Test

Hagoromo is the Sage of Six Paths, and the strongest Six Paths user before Naruto. He can make things out of nothing and change reality. However, Hagoromo’s strength is chakra volume and sealing technique, not raw aggressive output like other characters.

Imu’s documented Haki being described as surpassing even the series’ protagonist suggests a level of battlefield control that could let him avoid being sealed in the first place.

3 Kaguya Otsutsuki Could Go Either Way

Kaguya, who is one of the best villains in Naruto, cannot die and can instantly drop enemies into a different dimension. The only way for Imu to win is by avoiding being physically grabbed or sealed long enough that Kaguya, like in her actual defeat, needs a specific external tool she doesn’t have on hand here – meaning Imu doesn’t “outpower” her so much as survive long enough for the fight to stall into a stand-off.

That said, there is a way which can make Imu the victor. We’ve seen in the manga that Imu has the ability to possess people, and if he can somehow use it on Kaguya, that is a win. Furthermore, he can also turn her into a demon, giving Imu more control in the battle.

2 Isshiki Otsutsuki May Give Imu a Real Competition

This would be the fight where Imu truly starts to struggle. Isshiki’s durability and matter-altering attacks are a real threat, but Imu’s only confirmed answer is the same one he’s shown against everyone else: tank the initial exchange using his intangible/regenerative form, then rely on his superior Haki to find and exploit the moment Isshiki’s body – already degrading by his own internal timer – runs out of usable time. In this fight, while it would be tough, and Imu will end up bleeding out as well, he will win.

1 Shibai Otsutsuki Is the Hardest for Imu to Defeat

Shibai has moved on to a higher dimension. He has no physical body and hence, simply cannot be hurt. It is actually impossible for a character like Imu to beat him. For the writer to make Imu win, they must break the rules of both anime. Shibai must randomly decide to stop being a god and build a normal human body. Then, he must stand completely still and let Imu blow him up. This requires absolute plot control to force an impossible event.
