My Adventures With Superman is gearing up to air its third season, which will loosely adapt the Reign of the Supermen storyline. While the comics set that story in the wake of Superman’s death, the animated series appears to be using these characters alongside Superman as a way to explore what it truly means to be the Man of Steel. Since Superman is still a relatively new concept in the world that My Adventures With Superman has built, this could become one of the most interesting interpretations of the Reign of the Supermen story yet.
Needless to say, a slew of characters are set to return, along with more than a few new faces who will take on some of the most important roles in the story. Additionally, some characters have been confirmed for the season, but their voice actors have not yet been revealed.
1 Jack Quaid Returns As Superman/Clark Kent

Quaid shared his reaction to the reception the show has received so far while also teasing what to expect from the new season, saying (via Entertainment Weekly):
I just wanna thank the fans for their patience on that because the fans have been really amazing. It’s a really great season. I’ve seen some of it. It’s really funny, but the stakes are also so much higher.
When we last left Clark Kent, he had just survived Brainiac’s invasion, which made up the bulk of Season 2’s story. Season 3 will likely see him face new threats while also grappling with existential questions about his place on Earth — something he was only just beginning to accept.
2 Alice Lee Continues To Essay The Role of Lois Lane

Lois and Clark faced a double crisis in Season 2: processing a sudden breakup while simultaneously protecting Earth from a looming Kryptonian threat.
From the looks of Season 3, Clark may throw himself deeper into being a superhero to distract himself from his feelings for her, but he likely won’t leave Lois completely out of the picture, especially with the other “Supermen” now entering the story.
3 Ishmel Sahid Shines Once Again As Jimmy Olsen

There is also likely to be increased tension surrounding the character as Clark deals with growing complications both at the Daily Planet and in his superhero life.
4 Kiana Madeira Reprises Her Role as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl

The previous season saw Kara begin adjusting not only to Earth, but also to embracing her Kryptonian heritage as something she could use to help people rather than destroy them.
5 Max Mittelman Brings His Talent To Lex Luthor, Cyborg Superman, and more
Lex Luthor has an interesting design in My Adventures with Superman || Credit: adult swim Max Mittelman has voiced several characters in My Adventures With Superman, including Lex Luthor, Atomic Skull, and Hank Henshaw, who is set to take on the mantle of Cyborg Superman in Season 3.
Cyborg Superman plays a particularly fascinating role in Reign of the Supermen, attempting to convince the world that he is the real Superman. It will be interesting to see how the show adapts that dynamic. His inclusion could also mean Lex Luthor has an even bigger role to play going forward.
6 Darren Criss Takes Off As Superboy in MAWS Season 3
Kon El tries on Superman’s glasses || Credit: Adult SwimSuperboy will make his debut this season, voiced by none other than Darren Criss. This is a notable callback to the wider Superman mythos, as Criss previously voiced the Man of Steel himself in the Tomorrowverse, the rebooted DC animated film timeline that followed Justice League Dark: Apokolips War.
7 Byron Marc Returns as Steel/John Irons

His introduction in Season 2 raised the stakes for what the show might be building toward, especially since he arrived around the same time as Supergirl. This remains one of the more radical takes on the character, with the anime-inspired design making him resemble something closer to War Machine from Iron Man: Armored Adventures.
Who Else Can You expect To See In My Adventures With Superman Season 4?
The show is packed with returning and new talent, not only to support this new storyline but also to help set up another series in the same continuity. So far, all that is known is that My Adventures with Green Lantern will follow Jessica Cruz, one of Earth’s Green Lanterns in the comics. This version of the character will reportedly be a teenager, though it is not yet known who will voice her.
Other cast members expected to appear include Chris Parnell as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, Debra Wilson as Amanda Waller, and Michael Yurchak as Winslow Schott. Jeannie Tirado will also appear as Lana Lang, a character often portrayed as a foil, or even a romantic complication, for Lois Lane. Given the breakup at the end of last season, her presence could make things even more interesting.
