Vancouver firefighters appear to have a multi-unit blaze under control in a West End highrise.

At around 4:30 p.m. Monday, Vancouver Fire Rescue Services reported on social media that firefighting crews had entered a building near the intersection of Alberni and Nicola streets.

“Firefighters are inside fighting the fire on several floors. Water on the fire,” the agency reported.
