Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man in Masters of the Universe | Credits: Amazon MGM StudiosThe 1980s-inspired title song in the soundtrack was composed and co-written by the British hard rock band, The Darkness. The band took to X to reveal their work for the movie, sharing a clip from Masters of the Universe. They wrote:
“When He-Man asked whether we could provide some music for his forthcoming biopic
Masters of the Universe we dusted off our trusty loin cloths, assembled in the courtyard of Castle
Darkness and bellowed in unison WE HAVE THE POWER”
The British veteran musicians were also excited about another legacy artist’s involvement in the movie. Queen guitarist Brian May joined Daniel Pemberton to provide his guitar skills to the soundtrack of the movie. He played an epic guitar solo for both versions of Eternia.
