Police said, at approximately 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to reports of a stabbing near Hurontario and Agnes Sts., one block north of Dundas St. W.

The victim and suspect became involved in a physical altercation in a nearby parking lot, during which the victim was stabbed, cops said.

The victim, who was identified as Chay Wilson, a 32-year-old man from Mississauga, died at the scene.

Detectives from the Homicide Bureau named Jerome Edwards, of no fixed address, as the suspect in Wilson’s death.
