Investigators said Thunder Bay police responded Thursday at about 2 p.m. to reports of a man walking with a shotgun on Hwy. 11/17 and Pebblestone Rd, about 30 km west of Thunder Bay.

The SIU said the 58-year-old man fired his weapon and struck a police car.
